Selenomethionine is an organic form of selenium and a cofactor to iodine. It is incorporated into molecules of glutathione peroxidase. This enzyme helps to protect red blood cells and cell membranes against free radical attack. Selenium is a component of SOD and is also an excellent antioxidant.

Each capsule contains 200 micrograms of selenomethionine.


Clinical Considerations: Selenomethionine has been used for the following: Anti-aging, certain types of Neoplasm's, most viral problems to include HIV, EBV, CMV, etc., cataracts and Coronary Artery Disease.
