What are Vine Weevils?

Vine weevils are a major concern for gardeners. These nocturnal pests cover long distances, feasting on plant leaves and roots. Female vine weevils lay numerous eggs, leading to destructive larvae that damage roots. Infestation symptoms may be mistaken for drought, with notched leaves indicating adult attacks.

How Nematodes Help

Vine Weevil Killer Nematodes, containing Steinernema or Heterorhabditis bacteriophora, enter larvae, feed on them, and introduce bacteria that exterminate the larvae. One application can eliminate vine weevils permanently.

Best Time to Apply

Apply outdoors between January-May and August-October. Indoors, treat as needed. Soil should be above 8°C for best results.

Application Instructions

1. Mix the contents of the 50 million sachet with 5 litres of water to create a concentrate.
2. Add 0.5 litres of this solution to an 8-litre watering can and fill with water.
3. Water the diluted solution into the infected area, covering 10m² per can.

Keep the soil moist for up to 2 weeks after application. Full instructions are included with delivery.
