A.H.F by Zorex is used for support of allergies, upper respiratory mucous and histamine overload.
Three Capsules contain 240 mg of Vitamin C as mixed ascorbates, 60 mg of Calcium ascorbate, 150 mg of Citrus bioflavonoids, 450 mg of Quercitin and a proprietary blend of Ammonium Chloride, Porcine Liver extract, Mangosteen extract, Butter Bur, Chamomile, Elderberry, Anise, Fennel, Caraway, Nigella stavia and Reishi.
Although several literature citations suggest the above ingredients for allergies, upper respiratory mucous and histamine overload; it should be noted that the Porcine Liver Extract in the A.H.F. product is the original Anabolin product produced by Harrower Laboratories (Henry Harrower, M.D.). The name Anabolin could not be used on the label because the name had been trademarked by a drug company several years ago, after production of Harrower’s product was discontinued.
According to Dr. Harrower (page 47, An Endocrine Handbook) “Some years after the introduction of Anabolin, workers at the Tohoku University at Sendai, Japan perfected a liver fraction named Yakriton which they claimed to be the detoxifying hormone of the liver. Yakriton appears to be identical with Anabolin.”
